Oconee River Kennel Club (ORKC), located in Watkinsville, Georgia, was established in 2006 as an all-breed, nonprofit organization. We received our American Kennel Club, Inc (AKC) accreditation as an AKC affiliated club on June 16, 2008. Oconee River Kennel Club is comprised of individuals interested in purebred dogs and includes breeders, exhibitors, and interested dog owners. Our primary goals are to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of dogs, to promote responsible pet ownership throughout our community, and to conduct sanctioned matches and dog shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club, Inc.
Regular Meetings are held on the third Monday of *most months at 7:00 pm at the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce , 55 Nancy Drive, Watkinsville, GA 30677, in the downstairs meeting room.
*There are no meetings held in July or December.
