Oconee River Kennel Club (ORKC), located in Watkinsville, Georgia, was established in 2006 as an all-breed, nonprofit organization.  We received our American Kennel Club, Inc (AKC) accreditation as an AKC affiliated club on June 16, 2008.  Oconee River Kennel Club is comprised of individuals interested in purebred dogs and includes breeders, exhibitors, and interested dog owners.  Our primary goals are to protect and advance the interests of all breeds of dogs, to promote responsible pet ownership throughout our community, and to conduct sanctioned matches and dog shows under the rules of the American Kennel Club, Inc.

Our meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome.

Regular Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 7:00 pm at the Oconee County Library, 1080 Experiment Station Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677

Due to the closeness of the November/December shows, the November meeting will be on Monday November 13th (the 2nd Monday in November) at the Oconee County Library.

All volunteers are asked to attend this meeting, if at all possible.
