CH Ricks' Emma Rose Of Sycamore CD RA OA OAJ "Emma" bred by
Helen L. Kreger and owned by Kathy Ricks and her husband Jim was
awarded the American Eskimo Dog Club of America, Inc.'s
Versatility Companion Excellent (VCX) title at the American
Eskimo Dog Club of America's Annual Awards Banquet on March 10,
2010 in San Antonio, TX. Emma is the forth bitch and the
eighth American Eskimo Dog to have received this award since it
was first offered in 1989.
Emma also received the American Eskimo Dog Club of America, Inc.'s Performance Award at the Annual Awards Banquet. In addition to participating in AKC events Emma is a
registered therapy dog with Therapy Dogs International, Inc. and
enjoys visiting with her friends at several assisted living
facilities and the hospice house as well as listening to
children read to her at the library and a local school. |

Nancy Edmunds' Vizslas did great at the Atlanta shows recently!
On Friday she took WD & WB with Polo and Harley. On Saturday,
with four dogs showing, she took WD & WB for 4 pt majors, with
Lil'B and Lily to finish both dogs!! Lily was 4 weeks pregnant
at the time and was given this last shot at her Championship!
Nancy is very proud and thrilled!
Nancy also announced that the Wirehaired Vizsla has now been
accepted to move up into the Miscellaneous Class as of January
1, 2011!! The Wirehaired Vizsla Club of America has worked very
hard to get this breed recognized!! |

At the Atlanta Cavalier Specialty with 97 cavaliers compeating Barbara Michael's dogs brought home at least 21 ribbons, 7 of those were class first, Best of Winners--Dogs, for a 5 pt. major (97 cavaliers competing), and Best Puppy in Sweeps.
